DD is very much in love with sports since she came to this school. Her school has a full time PE teacher, and he is a jewel of this school. Almost all kids love their PE teacher Mr. R. My lady like DD took one of his after school basketball club and felled in love with basketball now. Even though I tried many time to introduce these sports to her in the earlier years.

Mr. R is very creative to let the kids play "hockey" in the school yard with some wheeled board. Some of the kids are real hockey lovers, especially for the Sharks. “Sharks” is the hockey team of San Jose. Since we live in the Silicon Valley, by nature we will be sharks fan.

I tried to learn some sharks game info from one of the boy’s Mom so I can bring DD to see a real hockey game this winter. This Mom was so enthusiastic to show me the schedule of all Sharks game of this season, and recommend me to watch some of the “good” games. Ended up they encourage me to coordinate a group trip during Christmas break for fun. So I did. Everyone is excited, this Mom came up with an etiquette list, and I asked a 4th grader Sharks fan to write some basic rules for us to educate ourselves before we go. Even their PE teacher Mr. R will bring his wife to join us. We have a group of 25 members with kids and their families to watch Dallas VS. Sharks on December 21st.

Here is the web site for buying ticket, http://www.sjsharks.com/seats_tickets/group_tickets.asp

I am so excited for the coming event and proud of myself be able to complete this coordinating task. Hopefully, all the kids and families will have a wonderful memory of year 2006 Christmas break
